How to start an apparel and shoes wholesale business? I would like to import shoes and apparel and sell it in singapore or maybe open up a small shop space where i can sell them too. What do i need to do and do i need to get any permission from respective brands or things like that. Will there be any conflict if i just get the stuff from manufacturers in china or indonesis for example? And also how to develop a successful import export or wholesaler business. Thanks:)

Some 'designer' factories are quite willing to sell to anyone who is willing to pay - in fact, I've even heard that some run night shifts just to meet the demand :-) PS watch out for the Chinese scammers .. some supply samples and even deliver small orders, only to disappear with your cash as soon as you start to place orders by the container load .."
